Is it possible to take liquor for checked luggage underage?

I am 19yrs old. I want to take an concealed 1L or 2L amount of liquor in checked luggage for a flight. At any time would they ask for my identification for age approval?|||there is a difference between what is supposed to happen and what does happen. You are supposed to report any booze you are bringing into the country and pay any duty if required. Customs is supposed to report that you are underage but that almost never happens (unless you pass the ****** check), because they have other things to do.

Back in the day when customs actually looked inside your luggage as a kid I smuggled cigarettes for my Mum and my Aunt. Customs didn't even question why this 8 year old kid had smokes.|||If you fly domestic you might get away with it. International you have no chance.

Really it is not worth risking the penalty of getting caught just for some booze you can get at your destination anyway.|||Depends if you going out from Britain or coming in to it. Going out not a problem, coming back is a different matter. Customs may just pick on you and then you get in trouble.|||Yea|||no
