How do I get liquor stains out of my shirt?

I just started bartending at a classy place so I have been wearing nice shirts to work in, the problem is that I've gotten liquor stains on some of my shirts, maybe from simple syrup or juices, sweet things? I dunno, is there something that would take them out?|||Try OxyClean or Oxygen Action or some other oxygen-based cleaner, powdered, you can find similar things in drug stores, dept. stores, discount stores, etc. Make a paste of the powder with a little water, and put it right on the stain, takes only a few minutes to lighten it considerably. If it doesn't work as well as you'd hoped, wet the powder with white vinegar instead of water, that works even better.

If the stain seems like it came from something oily, I like to use shampoo, it gets out oily stains even if you've missed them and run them through the dryer. Obviously, really cheap discount-store shampoo is best, price-wise, just make sure it's nearly colorless, so you're not adding any color or other stains to your shirts.

If all else fails, there's a bleach pen you can use to apply bleach to just the area that's stained, brand name or knock-off, dept. stores, drugs stores, etc., carry it. Be very careful with it, and rinse it out immediately, as soon as the stain has faded, to prevent it from weakening the fabric too much.

When you wash, make sure you're not filling the washer too full, my machine says no more than half to 3/4 full, that's dry clothes. If you put too many things in, nothing will get clean, better to wash too few things than too many in a load. That may help with future stains.

Use a pretreater stain-remover product on fresh spots, Spray-N-Wash, Shout, whichever one looks good to you, follow label directions, and if you then wash things well, a small enough amount of clothes to get everything clean, etc., the stains should not set in. Check after washing and before drying, though, so if the pretreater didn't work, you don't set the stain by drying it in the dryer. Try more pretreater and another wash, or the steps above if it didn't come out the first time.|||It may sound strange but try vodka. I have bartended for 3 years and vodka works wonders!|||HERE....
