How many glasses of highly concentrated whiskey or liquor is neccesary to raise your BAC to .5?

It's for a chem project (I'm not an alcoholic).

1st question: What's the highest concentrated legal liquor, something most people would be familiar with.

2nd question: how many times would a glass have to be refilled to get a Blood Alcohol Content of .5?|||1st question: The most common high alcohol sold in the US is Bacardi 151 since some states regulate that 151 proof is the highest you can sell. Everclear is 190 proof and is sold in select states.

2nd question: Since each drink of a standard alcohol(12oz beer/4oz wine/1.5oz 80proof) raises the BAC of an individual by .02 it would take 25 drinks to raise the BAC to .5. Each hour the body burns .02 so you would have to drink an additional drink for each hour. If you are using 151 it would take 13.333 drinks and if you are using 190proof Everclear it would take 10.5 drinks.

Hope that helps.|||It is very hard to answer that question because it is dependant on so many variables including; how often the person drinks, size of person, food consumed that day, and the amount of time that it is consumed in.|||everclear for the highest level of booze, one shot|||Between 2 and 3 glasses will raise a typical persons BAC to .08, so by my calculations it would be 18.75 to get to .5|||just so you know if your bac reaches 0.4 you will slip into a coma.|||Bacardi 151 rum is commonly sold in liqueur stores everywhere. 13 straight shots would probably bring you up to .5 bac. but, each hour one drink is filtered through your system be it a 12 ounce beer a shot of 80 proof liqueur, or an 8 ounce glass of wine.
