Which state has the most ridiculous liquor laws?

I live in TN.. Liquor can only be sold in liquor stores Mon-Sat, they close at 10 or 11pm. Beer is sold in gas stations and grocercy stores but not in liquor stores, they stop selling at 2 or 3am. Bars can serve liquor as long as they serve food, last call is 3am - 7 days.|||We were in Dallas TX on a Sunday. If I remember , The liquor store is closed all day, the quickie mart sells beer %26amp; wine after the noon hour. If you want hard liquor go to the bar at the hotel where you are staying. How uncivilized. I'm from Las Vegas.|||Louisiana. Not only do they have drive-thru liquor stores, but you can even get a margarita or mixed drink TO DRINK IN YOUR CAR AND DRIVE on your way out. That's nuts.|||CT Liquor stores must close by 9 and are closed on Sunday. Grocery stores can only sell beer. Bars have last call at 1:30. No alchohol may be sold on national holidays.|||Absolutely Utah. Aside from the other facts above, you also cannot order another drink until the one you have is gone, i.e. only one drink on the table at a time. My in-laws live there and make us do a "liquor run" every time we visit. Nuts!|||Utah|||well for starters youve missed the fact that all of america has a pretty dodgey law that says you have to be 21 to buy alcohol! what the hell is that about! and you should move to England mate you can buy alcohol whenever the hell you want, like actually 24 hours a day...7 days a week in supermarkets and club are open all night including christmas and new years|||utah i spent a week end there saying you can't do what?|||I also live in TN heh..|||Alabama, we have the highest 'sin' taxes in the nation!

- Alcoholic beverages end at 2 a.m. Sunday %26amp; can't resume until 12:01 Monday.

- Can't transport more than one case of beer %26amp; three quarts of liquor through a dry county.

- All alcohol purchased outside of Alabama are illegal and considered contraband.

- Minors under 19 years old are not allowed in establishments that have a lounge liquor license only.

-Alabama has an implied-consent breath analysis law. If you are suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, you are required to take a breath test. Refusal can result in a 90-day suspension of your driver's license.|||i think it's north carolina (but it might be south carolina) where they have state-controlled liquor stores, no private ownership at all. i live in massachusetts and our stores (we call them "packies" lol) used to not be allowed to open on sundays, but a couple years ago they changed it because everyone would just drive up to new hampshire and they realized our state was losing a lot of money that way.|||In Michigan:

Bars can't serve in branded glassware (ex. a Guinness pint, etc.)

It's illegal to use coasters with beer, wine, or liquor brands on them.

Bar staff and store employees are prohibited from wearing branded clothing (beer, wine, liquor brands), except during the hours of a specifically branded promotion that has been approved by the state.

Any Michigan retail store that sells beverages with a deposit (10cent recycling deposit on soda, beer) is required to redeem any container with a MI deposit, regardless as to whether or not they sell that brand or even buy from a wholesaler who carries that brand.|||ny baby- u get any type of liquor anytime anyday|||Without a doubt Utah. They can't sell beer that has higer alcohol than 3.2%. They don't even have bars, just "private clubs" where you have to pay a membership fee to get in. All liquor stores are state owned and controlled and they mark up the prices over 60% for everything. You must order liquor at a restaruant with a meal.|||Washington.

The STATE GOVT.OWNS (literally)ALL of the liquor stores!!!!!!!!

beer and wine is avail in groceries and cornerstores.

the State also lets Ferry riders buy beer and wine on the ferry KNOWING DAM WELL THEY ARE GETTING IN THEIR CARS TO DRIVE OFF THE FERRY!!

yep, it's pretty silly what the state will do for a few bucks...
