What alcohol or liquor do you add to mixed berries when making a fruit fool?

I saw a cooking programme in which a liquor was added to the fruit, any ideas please.|||Grand Marnier is delicious in fruit fool. White wine or a sweet red wine is also good. The cognacs, whiskeys, bourbons add a different sort of taste. Not as sweet. I prefer GM or wines.|||You can add virtually anything. Brandy is the best known, but I have seen liqueurs added and even vodka and whiskey. It;s a matter of taste.|||Brandy is often used but I prefer using Triple sec. It has a pleasing orange flavor that compliments the flavor of berries.|||Riterdb, You can use Cognac, Brandy or over proof rum,
