I have a bottle of liquor that I'd like to sell. Is it legal for me as a private citizen to advertise it for sale and to sell it to another person (assuming of course that person can legally purchase and posses liquor and all that) within the state of Pennsylvania?
I've tried to read the liquor code or find some information somewhere, but really everything I find is so voluminous or just written in legalese that I don't understand.|||i have read through, PENNSYLVANIA STATUTES,
TITLE 47. LIQUOR
and i do not see anywhere limits on private sales, there are only limitations on "hotels, restaurants and clubs" it makes refences to "Liquor Stores" but under Section 1-102 it does not define what is a liquor store. so i say since there is no current law forbidding the sale, the power is with the people.
HOPE THIS HELPS!|||No! You can get license to sell wine.
