What kind of liquor actually tastes tolerable?

I hate beer and wine so when I drink, I drink liquor. Throughout my drinking escapades I have grown to hate the taste of vodka and rum. I was wondering if there is any liquor out there that doesn't taste too bad and is somewhat tolerable?|||You might prefer mixed drinks or cocktails. Vodka usually blends in to whatever you mix it with. Try bloody Caesars (vodka %26amp; clamato juice) or Pina Collada (you can't even taste the rum in it usually). Or how about wildberry vodka coolers? I'm like you - I never liked beer or the strong taste of alcohol, I could never drink rum %26amp; coke, rye %26amp; ginger but I did get to like wine (especially red, chilled) %26amp; cocktails.

You could also try vodka %26amp; cranberry (I love cranberry juice) or mix some orange juice with the 2.|||Tanqueray 10 gin

j/k just get any of that flavored smirnoff crap,

also Mikes hard lemonade tastes pretty much like nothing but lemonade you'd probably like that.

|||I suggest trying a flavored liqueur that has less alcohol in it. baileys irish cream, kahlua (coffee liqueur), frangelico (hazelnut), chambord (raspberry) to name but a few. there are also endless flavors of schnapps out there. some of the more popular flavors: peppermint, peach, butterscotch, and apple. you might also try hard cider or any of those fruity/citrus malt beverages that are out. bacardi and smirnoff are just a couple of companies that make them. happy sampling!|||Try Single Malt Scotch/Irish Whiskies. Glen Morangie, Highland Park or Irish Bushmills. No water or ice, ever!! and preferably sipped, not swallowed in one and at "blood temperature" i.e. slightly warmed in the palm, like Brandy.|||It depends a lot on the mix you use. I drink brandy and Coke, but others may drink it with cream soda others with raspberry others drink it neat with ice or even with water. So does that sort of answer your question|||Unfortunately, you will often not find good beer when you go out to clubs. Try mixing various things with vodka...it is a flavorless spirit, so it will take on the taste of whatever you mix it with.

Vodka and:

-tonic w/lemon and/or lime.

-ANY kind of juice; pineapple, grapefruit, tomato, orange, cranberry, or any combo thereof...there's bound to be something you will enjoy.

-Mixed with a combo of other liqueurs. Vodka,Kahlua %26amp; cream (White Russian), Vodka, Peach schnapps, OJ %26amp; cranberry (sex on the beach)...

Check out a site like http://www.drinksmixer.com/search/?q=vod鈥?/a> and check out some recipes you think you'd like to try. There are so many fantastic things to drink out there, best way to figure out what you like is to try them!|||smirnoffs are yummy.

I like bacardi limon.

if you dont like the taste of it straight up, mix it with a non-alchoholic beverage, like pop or gatorade.|||If you like coffee, there is a patron called XO, taste just like it.

Other wise get a vodka flavor. If you are taking shots. If you are not taking shots... mix it with anything and it should be tolerable.|||Try liqueurs, or mixes like White Russian, Black Russian, or Mudslide. Or Irish Cream.|||All alcohol has that alcohol taste. Grey Goose Vodka when mixed with almost anything is the smoothest I've found.|||Your tastes often mature as you get older. You will begin to like some tastes you currently despise.

As for right now, I would recommend fruit-flavored beers or wheat beers, which are light but taste nothing like the cheap mass-domestic crap.

You could also try mixed drinks. You say you don't like rum, but you could mix it with coke or Dr. Pepper.

There are also a ton of liqueurs ou there. Stuff that tastes like any fruit you could imagine, as well as chocolate, coffee, caramel, cinnamon, licorice, etc.

Shop around!|||Whiskey.
